Introducing the Google Maps API

Basic Google Map integration

The map above demonstrates a basic Google Maps integration where the map is centered on a specific location and zoomed to a specific level. In addition, only a subset of the default map controls are activated.

In this example the the map is centered on Oslo, Norway, and zoomed to a an appropriate level to show where the city is located relative to other nearby cities.

Only the zoom control buttons are activated on this map.
